You probably have a big 80-inch TV in your living room, but have you considered a projector that can deliver a 200-inch image? That’s where the NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE projector comes in.
Priced at $1299 / £1299, Nebula’s latest product aims to redefine what it means to use a projector, and it takes me back to my school days when projectors were used to show Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in large classrooms, but the images were so dark and blurry that it was difficult to make out what was being shown on the slides.
Fast forward to 2024 and projectors have come a long way. Small projectors can produce huge images with very high brightness without compromising on quality. The Cosmos 4K SE projector takes this one step further, using a brightness technology called HybridBeam to project videos and photos in crisp 4K Dolby Vision that can display content at 1,800 lumens. It also has a handle that’s perfect for taking on family vacations, especially when the kids want to watch shows on the Cosmos 4K SE.
Lighting, Projector, Action
After testing the Cosmos 4K SE for a few days, I found it to be a fantastic option for my living room or when traveling. It can be used on just about any flat surface, and the picture quality is unmatched when watching movies or playing games. In fact, I’m considering replacing my LG C2 TV and using the Cosmos 4K SE full-time instead. The convenience of being able to move it around the house when needed is hard to resist.
Sure, this projector is a little on the pricey side, but considering the features the Cosmos 4K SE offers, the £1,299 asking price is more than justified, especially if you enjoy living out of a van.
Combine that with the brightness levels of the Cosmos 4K SE, the ability to watch the best Apple TV Plus shows and use apps like Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube thanks to Google TV, and you have a fantastic projector that you can take with you wherever you go for the perfect movie-watching experience.
