While playing Stardew Valley, you will now occasionally see a notification in the bottom left corner of your screen saying you have a ‘new idea you want to sleep on’. This was recently added in update 1.6, which has left players questioning its meaning.
It’s actually very simple. Every time you level up a skill, you’ll see a ‘I’ve got a new idea for you’ notification., informing you of progress prior to attendance for the night. Previously you had to wait until the end of the day to level up, but this notification can happen at any time during the day.
No matter what game you play, there is no more satisfying moment than leveling up. Stardew Valley It’s no different. Each time you level up, additional recipes or skills will be provided, so please pay attention to these notifications.
