According to a press release, Regions Bank announced a program to provide financial education and confidence to its customers. The program will begin in April with free Next Step seminars and tailored guidance through the Regions’ Greenprint.
The bank will mark April Financial Literacy Month with a webinar through its Next Steps program titled “How to Be Confident with Your Money.” Greenprint creates free plans to help customers achieve their financial goals. Each region will hold Greenprint planning events in Hixson, Tennessee and Katy, Texas.
“At Regions, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to build financial confidence through personalized planning, sound advice and support,” Kate Danella, head of Regions’ consumer banking group, said in a press release. “This is our promise, and it’s why we’re offering more resources and new financial wellness opportunities starting with Financial Literacy Month in April.”
“Our role as a bank goes beyond simply opening accounts or processing transactions,” Danella said. “It’s about using experience, insight, empathy, and actionable ideas to help people build greater financial confidence and ultimately financial security.”
