It’s been almost a decade since Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi odyssey came out. Interstellar It was first released in theaters, and to celebrate the upcoming anniversary, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. will bring it back to the big screen. sugar Paramount made the following announcement at CinemaCon this week: Interstellar It will be re-released in IMAX 70mm and digitally on September 27, 2024. Interstellar, The film, starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain, debuted in the United States in the fall of 2014.
In true Nolan form, this movie was a bit mind-boggling. Interstellar It shows a near-future Earth that has become uninhabitable due to a devastating plague that has wiped out almost all food crops. A team of astronauts set off into space to find another planet where life might exist, using wormholes to reach galaxies beyond our own, and space-time strangeness ensues. It’s a great movie and was well-received upon its release (despite many people being confused about what actually happened) and earned around $731 million worldwide. Diversity.
If you didn’t get a chance to see it in IMAX the first time, it’s definitely worth going to the theater to see this movie.
