Dude, we’ve all been there before. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgotten my password, especially my Apple ID password. If you are in the same situation, don’t worry. Resetting your Apple ID password is very easy.
It’s relatively easy to forget your Apple ID password because it’s not something you have to remember every day. Luckily, Apple’s website has a comprehensive page where you can reset your Apple ID password.
Here are the simple steps required to reset your Apple ID password natively:
Step 1: Go to Settings on your iPhone
It’s an icon that looks like a gear wheel. Sorry for the tie and half suit behind the icon in that screenshot.

Then that’s it! Changing your Apple ID password is very simple. Now, if you want to change your Apple ID on Mac, you can too. As Apple mentions on their website, the steps are very similar. The site contents are as follows:
“Choose Apple menu () > System Settings (or System Preferences) > Sign in with Apple ID (or Sign in with Apple ID). Then click Password & Security, Change Password, and follow the onscreen instructions.”
So, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your Apple ID password. After about 5 minutes, everything will be reset and ready to use.
