I had the annoying experience of hearing emails dropping from my iPhone into Outlook every second. I decided to turn off all sound except when answering the phone so as not to be a distraction.
If you’re experiencing something similar and want to stop your iPhone from driving you crazy, here are the steps I used to silence it completely.
- Open the Settings app. and tap Concentrate upon.
- Then tap “Do Not Disturb” on the Focus Settings screen.
- water tap people On the ‘Do not disturb’ screen
- When the Notifications screen loads, make sure the “All notifications from” option is checked (default). after that Allow calls from Select ‘Allowed people only’.
- Once you are done configuring your notification settings, return to the “Do Not Disturb” page, scroll down to “Schedule Settings” and everyday schedule.
- Finally, turn it on by toggling the switch from Off to On.
After completing these configurations, Outlook sound interference has stopped. But when a call comes in, it rings. Mission accomplished!
