#4 is my favorite
Don’t you want to hop on the momentum train heading to town where things get done?
I want to be on that train all day, every day. forever.
But I know it’s impossible. It’s not realistic.
We are much better at executing our plans, over-promising and under-delivering.
Whether we want to finish that book or lose 25 pounds, we think of our goals as giant boulders that we have to climb to the top of the hill.
And that’s why we digress (pun intended).
In 2024, we will do our best to accomplish more than we have done so far. calculated for someone.
And surprisingly, or rather surprisingly, I got more done this quarter than I expected. Or imagine. Because I was focused on what I was doing.
Not “I plan to do this.”
I was invited to the Top 1% Business Podcast. I booked two workshops led by experts. Exceeded revenue goals with geeks and experts alike. And I wrote an article that was quite well-received in a publication. finally!
So, to get back to the basics this quarter, here are some strategic mindsets I’ve taken to get more done each day/week without feeling stuck.
More regular and less flashy
Most of our days are average.
Only a few bring exciting highs or cringe-worthy lows.
So if most of our lives take place on regular days, regular days should make us feel good.
It is recommended that you exercise daily or as often as possible.
Meal prepping can be really frustrating, but it makes you feel better.
Meditation is by no means glamorous, but again, it feels so good.
This quarter I’ve been focusing on the power of mundane, boring things. No fancy routines, cold weather, or 10-step morning routines. It’s too exotic for me!
Don’t complicate your already complicated life. Make everyday tasks as easy as possible. Stepping, writing, breathing, sleeping.
