we don’t get much car battle games That’s a shame these days. I miss regularly playing fast-paced vehicle combat games that blended guns, explosions, and high-speed chases into one enjoyable experience. You know, these things twisted metal and Interstate 76. Well, thankfully performance This game aims to be the retro car combat game we all deserve.
performance It caught my eye earlier this week when one of the developers shared a video of it in action on Twitter. They reacted specifically to recent reports that: Sony canceled developing twisted metal game. In response to the news, developer Mariusz Tarkowski posted a clip that looks great. performance With message: That’s why I’m making my own. twisted metal. It’s a bold claim, but that short clip looked truly terrifying and I was curious. Was this the car combat game I was hoping for? I downloaded the demo and played it. Folks, let me tell you this: performance I really, really like it.
performance It is an open world car combat game. It’s set in a boundless wasteland filled with other survivors roaming around in old and rusty off-road cars, jeeps, trucks and compact cars. all vehicles performance It includes a large, cartoonish gun that pops out when needed and can be aimed at other vehicles in any direction. Because of how open the map is, you’ll almost always be driving at very high speeds. There are no obstacles in the wasteland, so you can focus on chasing enemy jeeps and trucks. If you shoot it enough, it will explode, giving you scrap and parts that can be used to improve your vehicle. Add bigger tires, more guns, and more.
everything performance feeling almost It’s too quick and sloppy, but in a good, chaotic way. I always felt like I was in control of my car, but only barely. Barely having control gives the game’s action an exciting, frenetic energy. I often felt like I had a rotary saw attached to the hood and was sliding around desperately trying to avoid enemy vehicles. This time, it’s not frustrating and it’s fun. You are always trying to lower the tires and make the car move forward. Just walking around without combat is exciting, which is a good thing for a game set in such an open environment.
I especially liked how enemy vehicles would often spin out of control, crash into rare rocks, or leap over jumps as they endlessly tried to blow up your vehicle. performance It’s not a boring game at all. Rocking music also helps a lot.
The game is currently being developed by a small team with plans for release. performance It will be available in early access on PC at some point. The demo already convinced me this was going to be something special. i would like to see it Different environment and new content What the developer promised. I’m ready to strap a big shotgun to the hood of my rally car and blow up 100 more jeeps. I’m so excited.
performance It hasn’t been released yet and doesn’t have a launch window. It is currently scheduled to be released on PC through Steam. You can download a demo today.
