The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh announced that $114.2 million is now available to member financial institutions to support their communities, according to a press release.
“FHLBank is proud to fulfill our mission as we continue to provide our members with innovative solutions for affordable housing and community development along with on-demand liquidity,” Winthrop Watson, FHLBank president and CEO, said in a press release. He said.
These funds will be allocated to a variety of projects, including:
- $48.7 million for affordable housing programs.
- $18 million for voluntary housing subsidy initiatives.
- $12.5 million in business banking.
- $22 million for First Front Door.
- $6 million to Home4Good.
The bank supports other affordable housing initiatives, such as the Community Lending Program and Blueprint Communities.
