Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is the leading technology innovation awards program in North America (US and Canada), combining technological advancement, entrepreneurship, and resilience. Fast 500 companies (large, small, public, and private) are leaders in hardware, software, telecommunications, semiconductors, life sciences, fintech, and energy technology.
What is the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program?
The Technology Fast 500 rankings are based on applications submitted directly to the Technology Fast 500 website and a search of public company databases conducted by Deloitte Services LP.
The 2024 Technology Fast 500 winners will be determined by their fiscal year revenue growth percentage from 2020 to 2023. The ranking includes both private and public companies. Companies must fall into one of the following industry categories:
- Communication/Networking
- Digital Content/Media/Entertainment
- Energy and Sustainability Technologies
- Fintech
- Hardware and semiconductors (including electronic components)
- Life Sciences
- Software and Services

Who can apply?
To be recognized in the 2024 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Awards, companies must meet the following criteria:
- Been in business for at least 4 years
- Headquartered in North America
- Operating income for fiscal year 2020 must be at least $50,000.
- Operating revenue of at least $5 million in fiscal year 2023
- Have a growth rate of at least 75% (check website for details)
Additionally, the company must own proprietary intellectual property or proprietary technology that is sold to customers in the form of products or services that account for the majority of the company’s operating revenues.
