Cinderella's Ghosts - Cinderella Narration

My life was once a story of beauty, grace and kindness. I was Cinderella, living in a mansion outside quaint Würzburg. But one fateful night, a terrible curse befell me, twisting my once beautiful existence into a nightmare.

Unhappy in life, I wandered the streets of Würzburg after dark like a zombie, seeking revenge on those who had betrayed me. My once gorgeous gown was now tattered and stained with the blood of my victims. My delicate features were now a mask of grotesque rage, and my hideous howls filled the air. No one could escape my vengeful wrath.

The villagers lived in fear of me, whispering about my haunting presence. The mayor dismissed their claims as old wives’ tales, but as I walked the streets after sunset, fear swept through the town.

One evening, during a harvest festival, I came out of the darkness, and my eyes glowed with an evil light. I let out a bloodcurdling roar and the crowd gasped in fear, scattering in all directions and causing chaos.

The mayor knew he had to end the curse, so he gathered the bravest men in town to confront me. Armed with makeshift weapons and dwindling courage, they venture into the darkness. When they faced me, I was filled with insatiable hunger, but a young girl stepped forward with eyes full of determination and empathy.

She compassionately urged me to let go of my anger and find peace. As she did so, she felt the evil light in my eyes begin to fade and the curse lift. With a final, mournful wail, I disappeared into the night, and my soul finally found rest.

The villagers watched as the curse was lifted, and their fear turned to awe. Würzburg was freed from my haunting presence, and the legend of Cinderella became a horrifying memory. They never forgot the fear that gripped their village, but they also remembered the courage of a young girl who showed compassion in the face of darkness.

And so the town of Würzburg lived in peace, and I, Cinderella, found solace in eternal rest.
