Binance, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has emerged as a beacon of hope with a large-scale humanitarian initiative in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that rocked Morocco.
Direct support for Binance users
In a rare show of solidarity, Binance Charity will donate $3 million in Binance Coin (BNB) to Moroccan users affected by the earthquake. Users with POAs confirmed before September 9, 2023 will receive $100 in Binance Coins, worth $20,957 at that time.
Kindness continues. Binance will also be giving away $25 in BNB to POA verified users from September 9 to 30, 2023. The deployment process will begin on September 12, 2023.
Global Donation for Earthquakes
In addition to focused support for its user base, Binance Charity has launched a dedicated public donation channel to build a broader network. This gesture invites the international community to stand with the affected Moroccans at this time of desperate need. This fundraiser is open to several major cryptocurrencies including BNB, BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, and BUSD. Proceeds from this initiative will flow seamlessly to verified NGOs tasked with implementing emergency earthquake appeals.
