Please note that most of these decks are the best of the best at this point. They assume you have access to all types of cards. Once again, I will include the five strongest. marble snap And here are a few more decks that aren’t too hard to get and are just fun to play with. You know, a little bit of variety and all that.
The Avengers and X-Men have fallen apart, and I’m not sure how much has changed with new members joining the game. I had high hopes for War Machine and Hope Summers, but they didn’t change the script as much as I thought they would. Will the Thunderbolts change things, or will Thanos and Knull continue to rule the roost? I guess we’ll just have to see how things play out. Okay, let’s get on deck!
Destroy Deadpool
Cards included: Deadpool, X-23, Nico Minoru, Carnage, Wolverine, Hulkbuster, Killmonger, Deathlok, Venom, Alios, Null, Death
Destroy Deck continues its dominance, but Alioth regains ground from Shang-Chi with regular power creep. marble snap This will increase your chances of entering the final turn with more power than your opponent, rather than less. Despite the minor changes, this deck plays the same way as before. Continue destroying Deadpool to strengthen him and feed Venom and Knull while lowering the price of death. Alioth becomes an ace up your sleeve, ruining whatever plans your opponent has in the final turn. This deck wasn’t touched at all in last month’s balance changes, and I’m curious when it will finally drop. As of now, it’s golden.
Thanos and the Blob
Cards included: Psylocke, Caiera, Hope Summers, Wave, Cull Obsidian, Vision, Mockingbird, Blob, Thanos, Red Hulk, Scar, Magneto
Despite the Second Dinner’s attempts to slow the Mad Titan down this month, he’s still stomping all over his opponents. The big change to his deck this time around is ditching Lockjaw, introducing Wave, and focusing on quick energy boosts to play very big cards. Caiera protects powerful cards from Shang-Chi spoilers. Use stones and other cards to collect energy and use big cards. It’s a strategy, and it’s nothing if not trustworthy.
Rise of the Phoenix
Cards included: Ghost Spider, Human Torch, Nico Minoru, Carnage, Multiple Man, Venom, Deathlok, Shuri, Shang-Chi, Phoenix Force, Nimrod, Arnim Zola
It’s an interesting hybrid that’s a bit of a Move Deck, a bit of a Destroy Deck, and shows solid performance. There are a lot of options here, but the idea is to move or destroy cards to strengthen them, and use the Phoenix Force to resurrect destroyed cards to make them moveable (Human Torch or Multiple Man are ideal here). You can spread the love to whatever your most powerful card is by playing Arnim Zola on your last turn. You can’t play this deck carelessly, but once you get the hang of how it works, it’s quite flexible and useful for catching opponents off guard.
hella lamp
Cards included: Black Knight, Blade, Lady Sif, Dracula, Jubilee, Lockjaw, Black Cat, Hela, Red Hulk, Magneto, Infinite, Death
Hela continues to be the most popular Discard tentpole. As usual, it leans towards discarding powerful abilities that you wouldn’t normally be able to play in a single game, and then using Hela at the end to drag them back onto the field. Naturally, this requires you to not cut Hela or accidentally play her too early, but you have insurance here in case Jubilee, Black Knight, and Lockjaw don’t work out. This is a relatively easy deck to play, and if you don’t already have Red Hulk, you can always fill his place with another useful deck. Perhaps the Apocalypse.
Bounce is back
Cards included: The Hood, Bust, Kitty Pride, Nico Minoru, Snowguard, Angela, Beast, The Collector, Falcon, Mysterio, Bishop, Heat Monkey
Ah, this is fun. Bounce is back with a few balance tweaks, and it’s amazing to see how far a deck can go without a single card over 3 cost. Use and bring back cards to power up characters like Kitty Pryde, Angela, The Collector, Bishop, Hit-Monkey and more. Bast is a full-win play here, as Mysterio is the only card that can get more than 3 power. Angela, Collector, and Bishop are the key players here. Hit-Monkey is a surprise on the last turn. I hope Falcon and Beast gets played with the cheap cards they salvage.
Now, here are some fun decks for those who are continuing to climb the ranks of their collection or for those who simply want to try something different.
This means war (machine)
Cards included: Black Knight, Blade, Ebony Maw, Goose, Jabu, Lady Sif, Ghost Rider, Shang-Chi, War Machine, Cull Obsidian, Magneto, Infinite
Last month I got lucky and pulled War Machine out of my cache. I then looked for ways to utilize him well and this was the best deck I found. Use Black Knight and an accurate slice of Blade or Lady Sif to get the powerful Ebony Blade, Ghost Rider to retrieve the powerful card you just cut, and Goose and Ebony Maw to trick your opponent into thinking you know where he is. . You can and cannot play cards. Then place War Machine on turn 5 and do whatever you want on turn 6. It’s probably not the best deck, but it’s one that players won’t see at this stage.
kazar and friends
Cards included: Ant-Man, Electra, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Armor, Mr. Fantastic, Cosmo, Kazar, Namor, Blue Marvel, Claw, Onslaught
Here’s one for those just starting to climb the ladder, one we’ve seen many times before. It’s a combination of many Ongoing cards that are boosted by Onslaught, 1-cost cards that are boosted by Kazar, and a few useful tricks like Cosmo, Armor, and Klaw that throw a wrench in your opponent’s plans. Honestly, this is as good as you can get with the first few sets of cards. Play smart and you’ll soon get your hands on something better.
This is this month’s deck guide. We’ll be back with another one in May to see how things are going after the Thunderbolts event is fully concluded and the month-long balance changes are complete. It will be interesting to see what these new cards bring to the table. But I think (as always) the biggest change will come from whatever balance changes to Second Dinner. Will this be the month Destroy finally gets his hammer? I hope not. Because that’s the type of deck I chose. Happy snapping!
