Hello readers. April 5, 2024 Welcome to the SwitchArcade recap. In today’s article we end the week with a look at a frankly bizarre new release. It’s not a bad thing. But if you’re looking for a traditional game, today’s probably not for you. After you’ve summarized your new titles, go to the sales page to see what’s new and what’s expiring. There’s nothing to chew on today, probably due to the huge sale that started a week ago, but enough is enough. Let’s go to work!
new release
Umbrellas are not permitted ($19.99)
The game is set in a dystopia where population is controlled through rainfall and greed is against the law. You work at a department store and have to buy and sell items from customers. Buy low, sell high, but be careful not to attract the attention of the authorities. Our friend Mikhail left the umbrella at the door and we will be looking at it in a review soon.
Puzzle Mix ($3.99)
If you thought Inti Creates was doing anything more than making shameless Gunvolt themed reskins. Suika Game, you are tragically mistaken, my friend. At least the music is good, right?
Super Destronaut Landed X Loaded ($4.99)
Prior super astronaut The game accepted the offer space invaders and battle zoneNow we have a new game heavily inspired by: Super box box. Well, it’s not the worst game to pull ideas from. If you can’t play this game yet but just want to jump in, it’s not an expensive punt.
Kitchen Crisis ($14.99)
you have this overdo– A thing of style. I know at first you thought that would happen. But no. This is something a little different. It’s more of a tower defense game, if you can believe it. You’re cooking for aliens, and your chef will more or less do the job himself. To maintain a smooth flow, you need to prepare your kitchen by placing stations and equipment in the best locations. It’s strangely compelling.
Arrowroot ($4.99)
Most of the publisher’s Switch releases so far have been recent NES indie releases, but this time they have newer Game Boy games instead. Kudzu is an action-adventure game about a labyrinth and a brave explorer trying to find his lost master within it. Perhaps he will find the answer to the maze’s mysteries while he is there? I’ve heard good things about this game, and this seems like the easiest way to give it a try.
Life of Slime ($4.99)
this is… It’s a very clever game. It’s basically a platform game, but it also includes some adventurous elements. You are a slime named Slami who doesn’t go to college and moves to the city to find a different path in life. Even though almost all the characters are slimes, there are many relatable situations in the game’s story. And then there are some unrelated ones. I don’t know if I’d call it that good As for the game interesting One, but I know it’s a vibe that some of you really like. Then think of the dinner bell.
Greed 2: The Forbidden Experiment ($15.99)
Find hidden objects… In the laboratory of an evil cult!
Laptop Artillery ($4.99)
This isn’t strictly a fancy dining experience, but if you want a simple yet functional meal. Bugs/Burning GroundArtillery game in style, here it is. Local multiplayer lets you support two players, or you can do a little target practice on your own. Honestly, I think I could just grab it. Worm Weapon of Mass Destruction I’m selling on this product because there’s more money included in the package, but if you want to support an indie instead, I wouldn’t feel worse.
Niebansen Plus ($4.00)
Solve the puzzle and escape… On a mysterious and somewhat cursed subway line!
empty bunch
Stunt Scooter Simulator ($12.99)
Off-Road Jeep Quest: Mountain Trail ($7.99)
Spy Guy Hidden Object Deluxe Edition ($8.99)
Histing ($4.99)
The Devil’s Call ($4.99)

(North American eShop, US price)
If you’re looking to fill your bucket, you can pick up a few sims from Kairosoft at rock bottom prices. Today’s real treat is need a guardian, but. It’s never been this cheap before and rarely goes on sale. Although I didn’t list it, the DLC is also on sale, so it’s very worth picking up the full package. There are also good titles in your Weekend Outbox, so check both lists carefully.

That’s it for today and this week, folks. We’ll be back next week with some new games, more sales, reviews and some news. It’s just plain song and dance, but at least we’re having a hit song. I have a lot of RPGs on my plate right now. Let’s see if I should spend the weekend working, or if I should take a break from work and play my Game Boy instead. It seems like an eternal fight. I hope you all have a great weekend, and as always, thanks for reading!
