Surprisingly, the long-awaited first six episodes of ARK: The Animated Series are now available to stream on Paramount+.
ARK: The Animated Series is based on ARK: Survival Evolved, and you can check out the new trailer here. It has also been confirmed that Part 2 of this first season will debut ‘later’ with seven episodes.
Before we get into what the show is actually about, we absolutely piled up A cast led by Michelle Yeoh, Russell Crowe, Gerard Butler, David Tennant, Jeffrey Wright, Elliot Page, Madeleine Madden and Vin Diesel. Now back to the story.
“ARK: THE ANIMATED SERIES, an animated adaptation of the popular video game featuring Yeo, Butler, Crowe, and Diesel, is an epic story spanning the length of human history.” The official explanation says. “When 21st-century paleontologist Helena Walker (Madden) discovers she has been resurrected on a mysterious primordial island inhabited by prehistoric beasts, she must learn to survive alongside her new companions over the years, while also learning to survive in their strange new world. We must try to uncover the essence of .”
The series was first announced at The Game Awards in December 2020 and followed the reveal of ARK 2, which also stars Vin Diesel. We’ve received a new trailer for ARK: The Animated Series in late 2022, but news about the project has been mostly quiet until today’s surprise release of the first six episodes.
As for ARK 2, it’s currently on track for a late 2024 release, with Snail Games CEO describing it as the company’s “next masterpiece.”
