The leaker first hinted that a new version of the familiar hardware would be revealed soon. As expected, it turned out to be the PS5 Pro. Over at Dealabs, billbil_kun shared a sketch of what the PS5 Pro could look like.
This sketch strongly suggests that the console will not come with a built-in disc drive. — However, the leaker said the information has not yet been confirmed.
PS5 Pro could be digital-only
The leaker also said that Sony actually has this new version PS5 ProThis sketch likely only represents the digital version of the console.
However, billbil_kun speculates that this could be a cost-cutting move by Sony, which would give Sony the opportunity to sell separate external disk drives for those who prefer physical games.
