PuzzMix is a fresh and exciting musical puzzle game featuring “The Muse, Lola! It’s a Suika game clone. Suika now has online multiplayer DLC. There’s also Sushi Shot, which also has an online multiplayer version. My point is more The thing is that there’s no particular reason to play PuzzMix unless you want 19 Bad Jpop Songs that unlock the more you play, and that’s because they messed up the formula outside of the existing, better version, and the balls have weird attachments. It doesn’t roll at all, which negates the physics aspect of the puzzle genre – even the sushi shots made the sushi move like a ball – what does this all add up to in an extremely boring game with very happy music that doesn’t excite me at all?
I was so bored with the PuzzMix game that I never finished a single game. I didn’t want to continue. Maybe I’m just bored with the genre, or maybe I just need to re-download Sushi Shot and play it for a few more hours. It’s not like it’s just thrown out the door. There is a sizable staff list for the game. The tasks are as follows:
But just because a lot of work went into PuzzMix, especially the sound design, doesn’t mean there’s a game worth playing here. Especially when the physics is all messed up. Suika Game and Sushi Shot both get Must Play ratings from me. You will get a backend score of 5, which is Not Recommended. Oh, and Suika and Sushi aren’t more expensive (although they are more expensive if you want the multiplayer expansions for both). There is no reason to pull all of this out.
Overall: Puzzmix is a really boring version of the Suika game with only 19 Jpop songs and an anime heroine.
verdict: Not recommended
